"Horchin" Laminated Mongol Bow for Competitive Horseback Archery
The Horchin (Khorchin) is a subgroup of the mongol people, primarily residing in eastern Inner Mongolia, China, and parts of Jilin/Heilongjiang. Descending from Genghis Khan's brother Hasar, they are known for their distinct dialect, unique shamanic traditions, and narrative folk songs.
The Horchin laminated bow is specially designed for today's horseback archery competition. Being a transitional long siyah bow, it has the stability of the long siyah design as well as a bit power of the recurved small siyah/tatar style bows. The carbon core also makes the end of draw length much more smooth.
