The Asiatic bow's static siyah (the wooden tips of various length at both ends of the bow) is a compromise to the natural material's limit. The most efficient bow would be build with elastic material all over the limb length, without the non-bending siyah, as seen on modern recurve bows.

So what about the modern design is applied to the asiatic design plus excessive recurve? The result is a "super-recurve" that exceeds any other static siyah bows.
